CAPABILITIES
Engineered products need an engineered sourcing process.
We combine manufacturing knowledge, supplier development and supply-chain coordination for industrial components and technologies where understanding the requirement matters as much as obtaining a quotation.
Machining
CNC turning, milling, grinding, boring and precision finishing.
Castings
Ferrous and non-ferrous cast components with machining and finishing where required.
Forgings
Forged components with subsequent machining and heat-treatment coordination.
Engine components
Cylinder liners and sleeves, pistons, cylinder heads, crankshafts, connecting rods, valve-train components, bearings, seals, gaskets and related parts.
Custom & legacy components
Drawing-based and sample-based development, lower-volume requirements and replacement components for older or obsolete equipment.
Multi-process parts
Components involving machining, heat treatment, surface finishing, special inspection or several manufacturing stages.
SOURCING & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
From supplier search to shipment coordination.
Engtech can support more than a single sourcing exercise. Where the requirement calls for it, we can act as the local coordination point across suppliers, development, quality, commercial follow-up and logistics.
Supplier sourcing
Identify and shortlist manufacturers against process, material, capacity, technical requirements and commercial fit.
Vendor development
Coordinate samples, tooling, process clarification, revisions, approvals and the transition from development to repeat supply.
RFQ & commercial coordination
Manage technical inputs, quotation comparisons, commercial discussions and supplier follow-up so decisions are made on a clear basis.
Order & production follow-up
Track agreed milestones, supplier progress and delivery commitments, and surface issues early when intervention is useful.
Quality & inspection coordination
Coordinate the agreed inspection and verification plan around the component, application and customer requirement before dispatch.
Consolidation & logistics coordination
Support packing, documentation, consolidation and shipment coordination where multiple suppliers or process stages need to come together.
What we look for in a manufacturing fit
The right process and equipment. Relevant material experience. Sensible capacity. A quality system appropriate to the part. Clear technical communication. Commercial terms that can support a repeatable supply relationship.
We do not need to own the factory to take responsibility for how the sourcing process is managed.
Have something outside this list?
Not every useful sourcing requirement fits neatly into a category. Send it anyway. We will tell you whether we believe Engtech can add value.
